Established in 2004, Exceptional Home Technologies (formally Home Cinema Systems) provides design and installation services for home and commercial markets. EHT utilizes their strong technical background to create a system design that matches the client's individual preferences while dramatically enhancing their lifestyle.

BACKGROUND:
Founder and President, Jim Kluka, received his Master of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1995. In 1989, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois. Mr. Kluka has 17 years of aerospace design experience working on programs from the International Space Station to the jet engine for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF). He has transformed his technical knowledge in the aerospace field to the meticulous design of home technology systems.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS:
Exceptional Home Technologies is a member of CEDIA, the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association. CEDIA is an international trade association of companies that specialize in planning and installing electronic systems for the home. TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION:
Exceptional Home Technologies has on staff CEDIA Installer Level I certified personnel and THX Certified Professional - Home Theater Level 1 and 2 personnel. These certifications ensure EHT has the proper knowledge to design and install systems that meets the client’s requirements while following proper standards and procedures. In addition, our staff is manufactured certified by Stewart Filmscreen (projection screens), Lutron (lighting controls), Netstreams (IP based audio/video systems), and Universal Remote Control (control systems), among others.
